Welcome again to this, our tenth anniversary season.
Our favourite Christmas panto is ON NOW I write this and the show is twice as funny as the rehearsals. As you may already know, this year sees a return of the silly boy who sells the family livestock for a few 'magic' beans. Good clean fun for all the family brought to you by the best amateur and 'resting' professional actors from the local area. Mark Oldknow's Dame must be seen and heard to be believed. Good, clean, family fun. Book now. 01494 677236
Othello by William Shakespeare in another new adaptation also directed by Mark Oldknow is to be performed at the Broadway Studio Theatre, Catford from 7 February to 4 March of next year. We have again been invited by Fer'vent Theatre to join them in presenting this timeless classic in our usual accessible format, with the emphasis on textual clarity.
Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë in a new adaptation by Carla Quelch is to be performed at the Swan Town Hall in March of next year. This renowned story has, perhaps surprisingly, very few stage adaptations. Expect it to get the Tight Fit Theatre treatment.
I am pleased to say that our Murder Mysteries The Nineteenth Hell and An Act of Murder have been putting in occasional appearances for school PTAs, golf clubs and community centres helping them all raise funds through a great evening's entertainment. There are still dates available in 2006. Please contact us to satisfy the detective in you.

Tight Fit Theatre in the Community presents its favourite panto in an exhilarating new production to continue our tenth anniversary season. Jack sells cow. Gets beans. Grows beanstalk and climbs it. Perhaps to some surprise he isn't the idiot of the piece. With Mark Oldknow as the Dame, Nell Charleston as Jack, and ex-Mayor of Beaconsfield, Paul Henry as the King.
In 2001, Tight Fit Theatre in the Community's pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk
"delighted the audience ... the younger members of the audience were entranced ... one of the best pantomimes I have seen in ages"

Why did you betray your own heart, Cathy? I have not one word of comfort ... You loved me - then what right had you to leave me?
Tight Fit Theatre presents a newly commissioned adaptation of Emily Brontë's timeless classic. This is an intense story of the passionate and near demonic love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. Her betrayal of him exacts a violent revenge which will reverberate through time.
Director and adapter, Carla Quelch, brings to the Swan a production which will haunt the imagination, bringing new life to a vibrant novel.
The Act of Murder | The Nineteenth Hell |
by Carla Quelch and Mark Oldknow | |
The Act of Murder is suitable for performance anywhere. A group meet to rehearse a new play for the London stage but someone will die and someone is guilty. Performed and improved since 1997, this Murder Mystery has never failed to impress. | The Nineteenth Hell is set at Southfields Golf Club. A committee meets but becomes caught up in the murder of one of their number. Ideal, and not only for Golf Club functions. |
Performed by appointment and tailored to fit your space. Intended to assist in fund raising for organisations but available for evenings devoted to fun too! Tight Fit Theatre's Murder Mysteries are unique and neither available as, nor drawn from, published 'games'. Please call Tim Hill on 01494 681096 to discuss your needs.
Renowned for its productions since 1996 and resident at the Wycombe Swan, Tight Fit Theatre is a professional theatre company who also provide training, project management, and technical expertise.
